Power of Mantras
I've been reciting the indrakshi.sivakavacham and jwara mantras for the past 25 years and more with amazing benefits, in the form of good health and continued well.being of the whole family. Occasionally, I have also invoked these mantras to aid close friends and relatives, who have confirmed the efficacy of the mantras. I recommend strongly that you recite these mantras regularly . At least once a day . After some months youa will have it by heart. Thereafter you can recite it whenever your mind is free from other thoughts, or to engage your mind qpositively. I do this several times in the course of the day, even while I am trying to get sleep in bed.
One comment though - lets not over stress the rituals connected with the chanting. My advice, forget the ritualistic side, just chant the mantras to yourself or loudly.
"Mañanaat trays the Iti mantras" or, "mantharam thraayathi ithi mantharam", it protects any one who would chant it.
The results are for sure, and the Great Parama Acharya of Kanchi confirmed this in my presence to a learned group of pundits I had taken to matras several years ago to chant the mantras 1008 times in the house of the late Ramanath Goenka, owner of the Indian Express. Indira Gandhi threatened to imprison him during the emergency and after chanting of these mantras, Indira Gandhi herself went to jail!
