Letter for Arjun Venkat
Dear Arjun,
I am very happy, in fact excited, at this opportunity extended to you by DB. Work hard, and do a good job of whatever they assign to you. The Germans want everything done „yesterday“ and are impatient for results. That explains why even after fighting - and badly losing - two Wrold Wars, they are still roaring like lions. Keep gpoing, you have our blessings.
By a strange coincidence, I myself started working in Bombay, in 1953, that is a good 57 years ago, at 221 Dadabhoi Naoroji Road, adjacent to Kodak House. It used to be called Empire House, and I started as Legal Advisor to the CEO. It is a quiet area to work, and you have very nice restaurants around, including the Parisian Diary, which is just across the road. Lots of Madras Restaurants too.
Love,
Thatha and Patti

Dear Mohan Mama,
I've received the confirmation letter from DB and I will begin working on Monday in Fort Mumbai. Thanks again for organizing this training for me at Deutsche Bank. This sounds like a very interesting assignment and I'm excited to start next week. I will let you know more details about the work after my first day.
Warm Regards,
Arjun
