Respected Justice Krishna Iyer,
I am overwhelmed by the concern and anxiety that you have shown towards me. I consider it my good fortune to be in your thoughts and take it as your blessing for me and my family. My children are all here to support me and it was such a great solace. In particular, Satish had come in his Car the day this happened and in a matter of minutes he and my wife administered Aspirin to me and rushed me towards excellent medical care in Lakshmi Hospital. Angioplasty was performed the next day and the Doctors have since confirmed that I am in good health and only need a few weeks to recoup from this condition. Accordingly, I am taking complete rest. The children have agreed to take turns to come and assist my wife.
Once again, let me state my continued admiration for you and the timely Lions roar that you give in the cause of social justice and establishment of Dharma. I shall continue praying for your good health and active life with my respectful regards,
Affectionately,
K.V Narayanmurti

My 97th Birthday falls on 31st October 2011 but it is being formally celebrated on a brief manner on the 12th November 2011 presided over by the Vice President of India. The function will be on a small scale and close fiends alone are invited. I warmly invite you to attend the function as your presence is exceedingly important from my point of view. The function will be at the Gateway Hotel (Taj) Ernakulam. Do come. You are a remarkable scholar and erudite friend. Your good wishes will be unique and luminous. I hope you will not disappoint me.
I specially invite your son Satish for whom I have great admiration. Dear Satish, this letter is an invitation for you too. Please come.
