Appa called this an annual expiation ceremony for all Yajurvedi Brahmins.. on this day all Brahmins atone for their past deeds and mistakes by chanting the Kamokarsheeth japa mantra a 1001 times..

The Mandukya Upanishad is an exposition of the Mystic Syllable, Om. The object is to training the mind in meditation, for the ultimate purpose of achieving freedom from materialism and , gradually help the soul is merge with the Ultimate Reality.

Isho Upanishad
Isa or Isavasya Upanishad draws its name from the first word of the first verse of the same Upanishad. The word "Isa" means the Lord of the Universe. The Upanishad begins with the grandiose and glorious assertion that the whole universe is peopled by God and belongs to Him.
The Upanishad gives a very persuasive and rationally acceptable argument as to why we should subsist in this world and perform our duties without any affection.
The argument is straightforward. Since the whole world is inhabited by God and He is the vibrant force in all the dynamics of the universe, nothing belongs to us here and no action can be truly performed by us on our own.
Its principal message is of universal brotherhood.
