US would regain its leadership position

The documentation supporting the argument that the US is going to pieces is startling and cannot be gainsaid.

However, I feel that this marks only a stage in the march forward, and will be recalled by future generations with awe and wonder. Much the same things were said when the US and the World - which was infinitesmal compared to the World of to-day in economic terms - went through The Great Depression. Strangely, I came into this World during the depression in 1929, as if to bring hope and cheer all around. By 1930, it was business as usual and President Roosewelt could go to war with the then powerful enemies of peace, Hitler-led Germany and Japan.

I forsee that by 2015, things will begin to look normal in US and, by 2015 the US would regain its leadership position. It is during the bad times that the worst amongst us learn a few good lessons that will help to carry us forward. All flabs will be shed, attitudes will change and some level of needed spirituality will be regained.

So, I prefer to say that the Glass is only half-full rather than that it is half-empty. Cheer up, better luck awaits all Americans.
